Pincipal suspended over affair with teacher

The principal of an elementary school in Foshan, in Guangdong province, China, has beensuspended after his licentious online chats with a teacher at his school were posted on the Internet.

According to the Guangzhou Daily, the chat transcript between two microbloggers, going under the pseudonyms Fenger and 0725, described sexual acts that they had performed together.

The posts were viewed by more than 40,000 Internet users after being published.

The paper said 0725 had revealed himself as the principal of an elementary school in Foshan during his chats while Fenger was believed to be a teacher surnamed Huang at the same school.

In their conversation, the principal, surnamed Li, said: "Your heart doesn't belong to me, nor does your body."

On her part, Fenger said: "I opt to leave you for your career, I prefer to choose bitter separation for your sake."

She went on to say: "However, I want you to be one of my closest friends forever, and care for me, chat with me. What do you think about that?"

During their conversation, the two mentioned a letter from local authorities, in which the principal was cleared of charges lodged by an unnamed complainant the he had had an affair with a music teacher at his school.

The bloggers discussed the possibility of tracking down the complainant by checking the computers of other teachers after school hours.

The paper quoted unnamed sources at that school as saying that teachers had complained that their computers were being meddled with and were rejecting their login passwords, most likely because they had been hacked.

The sources told the paper that Li's affair with Huang was not a secret! at the school, and that the things mentioned in the conversation were very likely to be true, although it was not known who published the chat.

After the disclosure of the chat, the paper said Li was suspended from his job as principal.
