Man killed in quarrel with landlord

A 47-year-old man was found dead with a head injury at his rented house in Menglembu, Perak Thursday.

It is believed he had been involved in a fight with his landlord.

Perak CID chief Datuk Dzuraidi Ibrahim said the victim, Chen Woon Min, was found sprawled in the living room of his house with head and neck injuries.

Chen's body was then sent to the Raja Permaisuri Bainum Hospital for post mortem.

Dzuraidi said the incident took place at 2pm when Chen was approached by his landlord. He said both of them were believed to have quarrelled which led to Chen being assaulted with a hard object, causing him to collapse.

Police are looking for the landlord and anyone with information on the case is urged to contact Ipoh police at 05-2451500.
