Teacher jailed for touching students

A teacher at a private Christian school in New Zealand has been jailed for two years for touching his students in a sexual manner.

Allan Ross Randall was sentenced at the Auckland District Court on Tuesday.

He had earlier pleaded guilty to touching 11 of his students, some aged as young as nine, between 2007 and 2011.

Randall put his hands up some of the girls' skirts and also touched their chests.

Most of the offending happened while the children were in classes at the Hebron Christian School in Auckland.
