Brazilian boy, 10, shoots teacher then kills himself

A 10-year-old Brazilian boy shot his female teacher in front in full view of his classmates before turning the gun on himself, Diario do Vale reported.

The boy reportedly asked for permission to go to the bathroom and when he came back he shot his teacher twice before running out of the room and shooting himself.

David Nogueira used his fathers policemans gun at a school in Sao Caetano do Sul, a suburb of Sao Paulo.

The 38-year-old teacher was shot in the abdomen and was airlifted to a hospital, where she was recovering.

David was was taken to the hospital but suffered two heart attacks and died.

The boy did not have a history of violence and was a good student. The Civil Police are investigating whether the child was being bullied.

"He was quiet, kind and polite, I cannot believe it," a neighbor of the child's family told Terra.com.
