Man dies after winning eating contest
Ivan Mendel came out first and won a one-litre jar of sour cream, but he will never know how his prize tastes like.
Soon after receiving the prize, the pensioner collapsed.
A medical team arrived on an ambulance and pronounced him dead.
Doctor believed Mendel had probably choked on vomit, Interfax news agency reported.
The eating cvompetition was held last week in Tokmak, as part of its city-day celebrations.
