Priest faces charges for sex with minors

A pastor from Croatia sent 22,000 text messages over seven months to underage girls soliciting sex.

These messages often featured his erected penis, daily Jutarnji List writes.

Ante Madunic would fork out around 1,000 kunas (RM574) per session.

One of the girls received some 40,000 kunas (RM22,919) over the course of several months.

Madunic confessed to having sex with just two of the girls - one confirmed this while the other has denied it.

However, due to a peculiarity in Croation law, Madunic will not be charged for having sex with underage girls.

Croatias current law does not consider intercourse with a child aged 14 and over an offence.

He will be tried on charges of using his position to obtain sexual services, reported the Croatian Times.

He even taught religious studies to some of the girls.
