Man attacks women in mini skirt

A 39-year-old Korean man was arrested for sexual violence in a series of attacks on women who wore short skirts over the past six months, police said.

The offender -only known by his surname Kim - had allegedly attempted to rape a 27 year-old woman near an apartment in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province on July 26, leaving the victim with injuries that would take three weeks to heal completely.An investigation revealed that he had committed seven similar crimes since last February.All of Kims alleged victims were wearing miniskirts at the time of the attacks.Police detectives who have been investigating a series of daybreak sexual assaults in the city identified Kim from CCTV records.I couldn't help myself whenever I saw women with short skirts, Kim reportedly told the police.Kim had told his family that he left home early in the morning because of work.Source: The Korea Herald/ANN
