An "inhuman" mum in the UKplotted with her teen kids to kill her own dad for the inheritance.

She scoured the internet with her son, 18, and daughter, 15, for ways to bump him off.They then battered the 89-year-old dementia sufferer with bricks in a plastic bag - aided by another daughter, 14, and the son's girlfriend, 16.But he survived the attack at his bungalow near Winchester, Hants, the city's crown court heard.Prosecutor Christopher Parker QC said the 48-year-old mum was not prepared to wait for her inheritance.She and the three eldest teens were convicted of conspiracy to murder, and the youngest of helping in the attack. The mother, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was branded "inhuman" by the judge and yesterday jailed for 17 years. Her son must serve at least 7 years.
