Photographs of two students having sex on top of a campus building have set off a major controversy at the University of Southern California andschool officials are considering whether disciplinary action is necessary.It apparently happened atop USC's 12-story-tall Waite Phillips Hall over the weekend.
The photos went viral after they were posted online Saturday night, according to the Daily Trojan.
An unidentified man and woman, believed to be USC students, at the top of the buildingThe Associate Vice President for Student Affairs, Denzil Suite says university officials are discussing whether the apparent romp constitutes a violation of university policies that prohibit unauthorized access to building roofs.
The male has been identified as a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. He was immediately suspended from the house.
The president of USC Kappa Sigma, Ayushi Gummadi, said in a statement to the Daily Trojan: "While the actions that were taken did involve a member of our chapter we, in no way, support this kind of behavior, nor do we promote any such actions."
Gummadi said the fraternity member has been suspended "for conduct unbecoming of a Kappa Sigma and a gentleman."
The woman was reported to be with a sorority that was hosting a philanthropic event there Saturday afternoon.
A representative from that house denies it was one of their members, however.
