Sex card game causes stir in China
Cards in the game instruct players to answer embarrassing questionsParents in China are up in arms over a card game that is popular among teenagers in cafes and online.
Many were appalled to find out that losers in the game are made to perform lewd acts as illustrated on the cards.
Now they want the game banned, the Shanghai Daily reported on Saturday.
A Shanghai resident surnamed Lin told the newspaper that she found one of the game cards in her 16-year-old son's room.
The card features two cartoon characters having sex.
"I have banned my son from watching porn movies and playing porn video games, but it never occurred to me that even card games nowadays are not spared such a theme," she said.
Her concern is echoed by many other parents in Shanghai who fear that their children are getting addicted to the game, the newspaper reported.
