He survived a horrific attack in which he was stabbed with a pitchfork - but now needs round the clock care A man in the United Kingdom was found unconscious with a pitchfork embedded in his skull, sticking out of his neck.Hugh Buckley, 54, was repeatedly stabbed in the head with the farming tool, reported The Daily Mail.

The grandfather of 7 was found in a pool of blood in friend's home. He was believed to be attacked by the friend.

Firefighters had to saw off the pitchfork handle and doctors fought to remove the four prongs from his foreheadHe had severe bleeding in his brain and was unlikely to last a night.However, he stayed in intensive care for three months, in a deep coma, from which it was thought he might never wake.He awoke but only regained the movement in his right arm and leg.He has severe brain injuries and cannot speak.
