Rapist who preyed on the elderly?

A former-taxi driver in the United Kingdom allegedly raped elderly victims, before being caught trying to break in to the home of a wheelchair-bound 86-year-old.

The accused, Delroy Grant, targeted those that lived alone and were aged up to 89-years-old.

Some of his victims were blind, deaf or had Alzheimers and Parkinsons disease.

While most of the attacks were on women, two men were also sexually assaulted.

He would also burgle the houses of his victims.

He claims however, that his DNA at the crime scenes were planted by a former lover.

He said Janet Watson, from whom he separated in 1979, had tried to frame him by collecting samples of his semen and saliva.He claims she planted it at crime scenes across South London, Surrey and Kent.

He also suggested the DNA could have come from his own son Delroy Grant Jnr.

Grant,53, is father of nine, who lived with his disabled wife Jennifer, 49.
