Serial cheater denied bail
A former engineer in Singapore was denied bail and ordered to be remanded a week for further investigations into four cheating charges.
Goh Lee Yin is accused of not paying a woman who sold her two Hermes bags worth S$67,500 (RM168,750) in an online transaction in October.
The 30-year-old also failed to pay a total of S$43,200 (RM108,000) to two other women in September and November for four other Hermes bags.
She was charged with cheating last week.
Court papers state that Goh, now unemployed, managed to convince Cindy Lestari, 21, that she had transferred the money to her bank account last month.
