M'sian woman sues over late ex-hubby's millions


For the 12 years they were married, a Malaysian woman believed that her Singaporean husband had no financial means to support the family.

So businesswoman Anna Wee Chiaw Sek supported Ng Hock Seng and their two children, including giving him a supplementary credit card, paying for his travel and medical expenses and lending him RM500,000.

When she filed for divorce in 1998, she did not seek maintenance for herself, and neither did she ask for their matrimonial assets to be divided.

But after he died in 2004, she discovered that he had amassed assets of more than US$20 million (RM50 million), which he put into four separate trusts.
