Woman wants divorce over lack of sex

A woman from mainland China, who has been married to a Taiwanese man for 10 years, wants a divorce becausehe only had sex with her on three occasions.

The 40-year-old woman from China, surnamed Han, kneeled down in front of Penghu County Government building in Taiwan on Friday, begging for justice.

She said the husband, a renovation worker, only had sex with her three times.

Han said before having sex for the third time, the husband hadasked her to pay NT$100,000 (RM10,353).

"I was forced to fork out the money because I wanted a son. I can't live with him anymore," said Han.

The couple has a 10-year-old daughter.

Han, who sells bean curd to support the family, said not only did the husband failed to play his role, he did not give them any money.

She claimed that she had asked for a divorce but her husband refused, saying they could only split when the daughter turned 18.

She said she hadno other choice but to resort to such a method to leave the husband.
