A four-year-old girl in the United Kingdom was knocked out, had her nose broken nose and lost two teeth, after a teenage monster threw a brick at her.

Jersey-Lou Perry was in her dads van when it happened, reported The Sun.

A group of thugs were kicking a ball against the van door, so the father got out and told them to stop.

"A group of about 12 to 15 of them started to walk towards me. I got back in the van and started to drive off, he said.

"Then a guy who had been hiding behind a wall jumped out and threw something, he added,

"I heard glass smashing and looked over to see if everyone was all right.

"That's when I saw Jersey-Lou had been hit. She was out cold and there was blood everywhere."

Her face was cut as she was showered by glass from the smashed window. And shards were embedded in her skin.

The police say the brick thrower is between 16 and 19 years old, about 5ft 6in and of stocky build with dark hair.

Her father said, "Who throws a house brick at an innocent little girl? The coward who did this must hand himself in to the police. He could have killed her."

Any long-term effects will not be known until a bone specialist has seen her.
