IGP: Police have identified man in sex video

Malaysian police have sufficient evidence that identifies the man in the sex video implicating an opposition leader, Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar said Thursday.

The investigations into the video are expected to be completed next week.We are now ascertaining, who is the owner of the (Omega) watch handed to the police, he told reporters in Kuala Lumpur.To a question on whether the woman in the video had been located and interviewed, Ismail said the police have managed to talk to everyone involved in the sex video.On March 21, newsmen were given a preview of the 22-minute video, showing a man resembling the oppositionleader, having sex with a Chinese prostitute.The video was recorded on Feb 21 in a local hotel room.A 'teaser' of the controversial video was also uploaded on YouTube in early April.Published April 14 2011
