The man in the sex video is not Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, said his wife and PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail who has viewed the short online teaser with her family.

"It is definitely not him. It is clear that the body and physique of the actor in the video is extremely different from that of my husband," she said.Dr Wan Azizah said that for over a year now, Anwar had been accompanied by his children whenever he exercised and underwent physiotherapy as part of recuperative measures for his injured spine.

"Who else will know the man as intimately as us, his closest and nearest family members who have been through thick and thin with him.""That is not Anwar in the video. Whether it is genuine or otherwise is not the issue," she said, adding that she decided to watch the clip as it did not contain lewd scenes.She was speaking at a packed press conference at her home Tuesday with her father Wan Ismail Wan Mahmud, daughter and Lembah Pantai MP Nurul Izzah and other Pakatan Rakyat leaders.Wan Ismail condemned the 'baseless accusations' and said they would continue to stand by Anwar while Nurrul Izzah said she was saddened by the development."This is not the first time we have been put through this. Even if the Government is against the Opposition Leader, they should attack him through his policies and not use dirty politics like this.
