No hair, no confidence for S'pore men
No hair, no confidence for S'pore men
Singapore men are (very) scared of losing their hair. Many say their hair gives them self-confidence, and they would be upset if their hair started to thin.
Singapore women also say they prefer men with a full head of hair, especially if the men are young.
Older men, they say, should shave their heads completely, instead of opting for a comb-over if their hairlines recede.
According to a survey by Merck on male pattern hair loss, Singaporean men were the most sensitive to hair loss amongst Asia Pacific countries - with seven in 10 Singaporean men thinking that thin hair would make them unattractive to the opposite sex.
