'Monkey King' wins RM82mil lottery

The 'Monkey King' receiving his cheque in Chongqing

A man wore a mask of the legendary character Monkey King to receive his lottery win in China.

Believed to be in the 30s,the manrefused to reveal his identity.

The 'Monkey King' collected a cheque amounting to 176.9mil yuan (RM82.2mil) at a lottery outlet in Chongqing on Tuesday.

Immediately after, he donated five million yuan (RM2.32mil) to charity.

He told reporters that he had beennervous after winning.

"Icould not sleep or eat well as Iwas worried that I might lose the winning ticket," he said.

Monkey King is the main character in the classical Chinese epic novel Journey to the West.
