Pic from www.thesun.co.ukLeticia Weaver lies on a bed in a grubby Los Angeles motel room to have bathroom sealant from a DIY store injected into her bottom.The Londoner, 26, has paid 500 for the illegal and life-threatening jabs to give her a more shapely behind - despite knowing about the 'booty shots' death of 20-year-old Brit Claudia Aderotimi, the Sun of UK reported.Desperate for the perfect shape which she believes will further her dancing career, this is Leticia's sixth treatment in such seedy surroundings, at a total cost of 3,000.And a Sun investigation into the shady world of these illegal injections has found she is not the only girl prepared to risk their lives for a curvaceous behind.Leticia, from Brixton, south London, says: "Claudia's death is tragic, but it won't stop people having these injections."I have suffered with vomiting and a temperature after having the booty shots but it's worth it."Every hip-hop dancer needs a big behind. If you're not born with it, you have to get it somehow."Nurse Keisha, 45, rents the room by the hour and does not carry out any medical checks before the procedure.Her clients simply arrive at the cockroach-infested motel, undress, then have hardware store silicone pumped into their backsides.Leticia, who earns 25,000 a year, says: "It's certainly not the most hygienic procedure but it's effective and costs far less than having bum implants."The silicone is stuff that can be picked up from a store such as B&Q and is similar to bathroom sealants - only more diluted."But I have a pert butt because of it, which will further my career as a dancer."She explains: "Several of my friends had already had it done and they were fine. When I spotted the number, I gave ! Nurse Ke isha a call."Her mobile number changes every few weeks and it will be passed around the dancers through forum links or network sites."The location where Nurse Keisha works from is never the same. For my six procedures I have met her at five different motels and at a friend's flat. When I had my first booty shot, all Nurse Keisha did was show me what she was going to do."She told me the silicone was similar to what the doctors used, but it was a slightly cheaper sort from a DIY store."Nurse Keisha claims to be a trained nurse, but says she has never worked in a mainstream hospital due to a back injury.Wearing doctors' scrubs and with a disinfectant drape over the bedside table, she carefully lays out the syringes which each hold between 10ml and 30ml of silicone sealant.She then plunges the needles, one after another, into Leticia's bottom.Nurse Keisha says: "I have been giving booty shots for five years and have never had a girl suffer dramatic side-effects."I know what I am doing and where to inject. I always ensure the silicone goes straight into the tissue, making sure it's not near any veins or arteries."In Claudia Aderotimi's case, police believe she was injected with Krazy Glue rather than the silicone I use. I'd never use that stuff - it's just wrong."Wannabe hip-hop star Claudia flew to Philadelphia in the States for jabs to give her a curvier bum.Despite Claudia's horrifying death and the fact she knows it is illegal, Nurse Keisha vows to carry on with her lucrative injections business. She is happy to be helping her clients achieve their dream of having a big bum for a cut price.Nurse Keisha says: "These girls want a cheap fix and I am here to help them."My clients always come back for more and I do a good job."Injecting silicone may be illegal but this is because it is being administered by people who don't know what they are doing. My booty shots work."There are some butchers out there but I'm ! not one. I have medical training."After ramming the needles full of the potentially deadly silicone into Leticia's bottom, Nurse Keisha furiously rubs around the jabbed area before slapping on several plasters to cover the weeping wounds. Leticia admits: "It does hurt quite a lot and when she stops rubbing the area some lumps start to form."But Nurse Keisha's very good - and I usually have three vodka shots before I have the injections to help with the pain. This also helps relax me."In the hip-hop world it's all about the size and shape of your butt. It's like a status symbol and can be the difference between getting a job on a music video or not."Leticia's family know she is spending her hard-earned money on the injections but are powerless to stop her trying to achieve her goal of having a large bottom. She says: "They think I'm nuts to risk so much for vanity."They have told me to stop - especially after they read about Claudia's death - but I can't."The competition to be a successful hip-hop dancer is fierce and although I felt very sad to hear about Claudia's death, it hasn't put me off."I can understand why she decided to have the injections."She, like me, was willing to do whatever it would take to become a star."The jabs are extremely painful - I feel sore afterwards and some girls have a really high temperature."We all know the risk - but it is a small price to pay for a good butt." - www.thesun.co.uk
