Sailor accused of rape says he was seduced

A sailor accused of raping a woman from the Navy in after a drunken night out told a court martial yesterday she had seduced him and he did not even find her attractive.The alleged rape took place after the 19-year-old woman went drinking with two sailors in Portsmouth in the United Kingdom.

She had consensual sex with one but claimed that she did not realise when a second got into bed with her because he had the same Scottish accent and so slept with him too.

However, Kenni Dinnell, 21, told the Royal Navy court martial the woman was "fully conscious" during their encounter, which took place just two hours after she slept with his friend.
