Blackface comes to China!

Hmm, we did away with this business quite awhile ago where I come from, but it looks like blackface has arrived - once again - on the Chinese mainland:

The picture was taken at a Model United Nations conference in Guizhou Province where Chinese and Irish students got together to try and solve the world's problems. I found it in this Xinhua slideshow.

Not the first time Xinhua has dabbled in blackface, last August they posted a shocking gallery of darkened celebrities. That kid is going to out grow his ign'ance. Xinhua? Maybe not...
