Harold Landry, a wealthy American engineer, is accused of stabbing his wife 23 times.A British wife was stabbed 23 times by her American husband for having an affair with an old schoolmate, reported The Daily Mail.

Lucy Landry, 38, started exchanging Facebook messages and began to meet with ex-schoolmate Gareth Jenkins, after her marriage began to sour.

Her husband, Harold Landry, 64, became infuriated that she regularly invited her lover to spend the night at their country home. while he was away.

The wealthy businessman eventually attacked his wife with a rolling pin.

At one point, he allegedly had her in a headlock and they struggled before she ran outside.

He chased her and stabbed her 23 times with a kitchen knife and left her dying in a hedge.
