Wife tries to cut off husband's organ
A woman has been arrested over claims she tried to cut off her husband's manhood with a pair of scissors.
Virginia Valdez, 67, was held on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, spousal abuse and MAYHEM.
Cops in Palm Springs, California, US, let her go yesterday after 64,000 bail was paid.
Police Sgt Melissa Desmarais said: "Officers made contact with the 62-year-old male victim, who reported that his wife had attempted to sever his penis with scissors, resulting in injuries to the area.
"The victim received medical attention for treatment of a non-life threatening wound and has subsequently been released from the hospital."
It was not clear what sparked the alleged incident.
