Kaiden Burnside was inadvertently abducted when the suspect fled the scene of the shootings
Atwo-year-old boy abducted after two people were shot to death on Christmas Eve in Richmond, Virginia in the US, was found unharmed in a stolen SUV.
Kaiden Burnside was apparently inadvertently abducted when the suspect fled the scene of the shootings about 5 pm Saturday and stole the vehicle which was left on the street with its engine running.
Police said in a Tweet: "2-year-old Kaiden Burnside is OK. Found alone inside SUV off Jennie Scher Road. Thanks to everyone for assistance."
City police spokeswoman Karla Peters told the Richmond Times-Dispatch that Kaiden was found sleeping alone in the parked vehicle.

The double-murder suspect has been identified as 27-year-old Jamal Louis Clemons. He is wanted for abduction, robbery, robbery with a firearm and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony by a convicted felon.

In 2004, Clemons was found guilty of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and sentenced to 10 years in prison, with eight suspended.

Police said a man and a woman were killed in the Church Hill neighborhood at about 5 pm Saturday. Both had been shot.
Witnesses reported that a man fled the scene inside a 2012 white GMC Terrain SUV that was left with the motor running and the boy strapped in the back seat.
Virginia police then issued an 'Amber Alert' for the toddler saying:"The child is believed to be in extreme danger."
