Dad, sons suspected of sexually abusing daughters

German media are citing prosecutors as saying that a father and his two sons have been arrested on suspicion of sexually abusing the family's daughters who are less than 14 years old.

Public broadcaster NDR 1 and the Hamburger Abendblatt newspaper reported on Wednesday that prosecutors in the northern German city of Itzehoe suspect the 48-year-old father and his sons, aged 16 and 18, of sexually abusing 'several' daughters on numerous accounts.
Prosecutors could not immediately be reached for comment.
NDR 1 reported the family has 10 children but further details were being withheld to protect the family's privacy. It said the trio were arrested Dec. 8.
