Teens caught pimping underage girls

The teenage boys are arrested for pimpingAlso nabbed were 12 girls, aged between 12 and 17. Five of them are still schooling, the rest are dropouts.

It is learnt the group, which had dozens of girls, made some NT$3mil (RM315,016) monthly when it started operation early this year.

According to the girls, they were doing it voluntarily, as they needed the money to buy branded items.

Each of them received between NT$350 (RM36.80) and NT$1,000 (RM105) per hour to entertain a customer- who paid between NT$1,800 (RM189) and NT$2,800 (RM294)- at the mo mo cha shops.

They earned extra byhaving sex with the customers.

When arrested, one of the boys- nicknamed Sparrow- insisted they were not wrong.

"We didn't steal, didn't rob, we were just just helping the girls who are in (financial) difficulties."

Police said the father of one of the boys' on seeing the son made so much money had made up lies to cheat the teachers over his absence from school.
