College dreamer Liang Shi fails his exam again

Liang Shi, a 44-year-old businessman who was trying hard to fulfil his college dream, has failed again. The businessman sat for the National College Entrance Examination in China earlier this month for the 15th time. When the results were released on Friday night, Liang Shi was 64 below the passing mark of 416. (The full mark is 750)Although appeared calm, Liang Shi has failed to hide his disappointment from Tianfu Morning Post reporter."My memory is still good, but I just don't like to do the coursework."I'm like continuing to add woods to cook a pot of water that will never boil," he said with a sigh.Liang Shi has been hoping to get into the Mathematics faculty of Sichuan University.

He failed the exam for the first time in 1983, then failed repeatedly in the next five years.

But he had never given up and continued studying hard for the exam all these years - despite not obtaining enough marks to pass.

"It's troublesome. Both my parents were teachers but none of the five children is graduate.

"To me, getting into college is a very proud thing," he said.

Liang Shi said he felt like giving up after failing the exam this time.

"It depends, if my spirit is lighted up again, I may give myself another try."
